Dear Pastor,
I highly recommend this couple for the work of the ministry in Russia. Rick has served as
my Youth Pastor for a year and a half and has done a tremendous job. He is zealous in his service,
honest in his dealings and faithful to his savior. He is a soul winner, a teacher and preacher of the
bible and an example for young Christians to follow. He has demonstrated loyalty to Jesus Christ, his family, his pastor, and his Christian brothers and sisters. Rick is a very hard worker serving
both the church and a secular job simultaneously.
Rick and his wife came to our church after graduating from Pensacola Bible Institute. He
told me upfront that he believed God had called him to the mission field of Russia but knew that
he wanted to do something in the meantime while waiting on God for further direction
concerning his calling. He served as Youth Pastor for six months without pay before our church
was able to take him on financially. I believe this demonstrates this man’s seriousness in serving
Jesus Christ and not for filthy lucre’s sake. He has been a great asset to our church and I’m sure
will not disappoint when he arrives to his field of service in Russia.
